On the First Friday of every month - throughout the year - businesses, artists, and entertainers throw a party in downtown Goshen. Hours are generally from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This month:

Goshen's Open Studio Tour features area studios and galleries, showcasing the work of many local artists.Take the self-guided tour to view current gallery exhibits, get an inside look at artists’ studios, see work in progress, and purchase original art directly from the artist. More details below under the "Entertainment" tab.

GHS Art Benefit Auction and Free Soup

The GHS Art Department will be sponsoring an auction at the First Presbyterian Church.  This auction will feature student art as well as other donated items.  The Auction goes from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

The First Presbyterian Church will also be sharing free soup with the community from 5:30 - 8:30 PM.  Homemade Chili, Chicken Soup, and Vegetarian Vegetable will be available for everyone to enjoy (as long as supplies last:)

As always...our facilities are at your disposal for coffee, free WiFi, restrooms, a warm place to sit with friends and good old hospitality.

New Horizons Band at City Church

Goshen City Church of the Brethren hosts the New Horizon’s Band!  203 North 5th Street, Goshen.

Come and join the crew at City Church for a wonder evening with a variety of music from the New Horizons band.  The music will start at 7:00 in our Fellowship Hall complete with refreshments and pop corn.  After a day at work and a wonderful dinner at a down- town restaurant, what would be better than sitting back and having a toe tapping time with the New Horizons Band at City Church?  Entrance fee is free, but we will be receiving ‘Quarters for Kids’, keeping with Goshen’s “Week of Compassion”.

Author Annette Britton, who attended Bethany Christian Schools and Goshen College, will be available from 6-9pm to sign copies of her book 5 Black Women Inc.

Holiday Happenings
Holiday Happenings will take place at First United Church of Christ on Friday, November 5th from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday, November 6th from 9 am to 2 pm. Activities will include a sloppy joe dinner and coolie walk on Friday night and a biscuit & gravy breakfast, taco salad luncheon and cookie walk on Saturday. Both days will include many crafters and vendors selling their items and a themed basket silent auction.
