First Fridays in downtown Goshen

On the First Friday of every month - throughout the year - businesses, artists, and entertainers throw a party in downtown Goshen. Hours are generally from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This month:

Learn something new this month as storytellers spin tales, authors and writers entertain audiences, and storeowners demonstrate tricks of the trade.

Do you have a talent? Juggling? Magic? Storytelling? Maybe you sing or play an instrument. Whatever it is, if you have something you’d like everyone to HEAR or have a story to TELL – sign up! It is simple and free (but limited to only 15 acts!)

Do you have a talent? Juggling? Magic? Storytelling? Maybe you sing or play an instrument. Whatever it is, if you have something you'd like everyone to HEAR or have a story to TELL -- sign up! It is simple and free (but limited to only 15 acts!)

Location and time
Goshen Theater 216 South Main: 7:30 - 9 p.m.

Prizes
Prizes will go to the top three acts! The audience members will vote by ballot.
1st prize - $300
2nd prize - $200
3rd prize - $100

Guidelines
- This is a family-friendly event
- You have five minutes
- Acts will be on stage 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Awards presented at 9:30 p.m.

Application deadline
Don't delay! There is a limit to how much talent we can handle in one night! Registration deadline is 5 p.m., February 29. Our judges will review your application and 15 acts will be accepted and notified they have been selected to participate on Thursday, March 1.

Students in grades 6 - 8 are welcome to hang out, dance, and play carnival games! Win prizes!

ID REQUIRED • All students MUST have a photo ID in order to attend this event. No Exceptions.

Parents • Middle School student activities end promptly at 9 p.m. Please pick up your son or daughter at the Goshen Theater by 9 p.m.
